WHO ARE WE?

Garden Games began in 2006, with one man, a few board games and a park bench in Kings Cross. He met many strangers, shared stories and saw how play brought people together. That spark of connection turned into a full-time business by 2014, and the goal has remained the same: bring people together through fun and play.
Today, we are a very small, Sydney-based team staying true to those roots: creating moments of real connection through play.
We believe in going back to basics, away from screens and toward shared experiences.
We know that playing games encourages learning and development, stimulates creativity and fosters relationships between children, adults, intergenerational families, school friends and work mates.
Our collection includes active games (such as tug-of-war or sack races), our giant games (think Chess, Jenga, Scrabble...), giant Lego (innumerable builds ahead!), handmade wooden games (such as Klotski or Fishing), craft activities (e.g. you can create and launch your own paper rockets!) and chalking activations (with every colour imaginable and some instructional guides to inspire the artist within).
We've worked with families, education centres, businesses, councils and community groups across Sydney.
Reach out to work together for your next event, large or small.

Thank you for sharing photos across all locations, your games are always a hit.
Always a pleasure working with Garden Games, look forward to working with you again soon. - January, 2025

Thank you once again for providing some amazing entertainment for the visitors to NYE24 at Barangaroo!
I just wanted to say a big thank you for your huge contribution to making Saturday’s party such a success.
The kids all had so much fun - and the addition of your incredible outdoor games was a huge hit - they absolutely loved them (especially the fishing game!)
It was so lovely meeting you on Saturday and I very much appreciate your kindness and professionalism the entire time we have been in contact over the last few months.
Thank you again so much - and we look forward to having you at our next party! - November, 2025
